The Global Development Awards Competition (GDAC) is GDN’s largest and longest-running programme that brings together a rich community of researchers and development practitioners. It is an award scheme that identifies talent and supports the career advancement of researchers in the Global South, and Funds innovative social development projects implemented by NGOs that benefit marginalised groups in the developing world.
The GDAC 2025 theme is Digital Transformation for Universal Health Coverage, and it is divided into two categories: Researchers and Projects.
We are excited to announce that Dreamlopments (DLP) Foundation, M-FUND project, won the FIRST PRIZE in the Most Innovative Development Project category of the Global Development Awards Competition 2025 (GDAC 2025) and received a $50,000 grant.
“Thank you, GDAC, for believing in our work. With the $50,000 award, we will expand M-FUND in Malaysia to provide health protection for refugees not currently covered by other schemes.
Thank you also to all the staff for the amazing work you do! I gladly and proudly represented our foundation, our teams, who work tirelessly on this beautiful project.” Nicolas F. Durier, Founder and General Director of DLP Foundation.
