One of the key issues that migrants face in receiving quality healthcare services is that they commonly do not hold any record of their medical history. When seeking services in new areas, they are typically unable to provide reliable information on diagnostic investigations or treatments they have received/initiated. To address this gap, Dreamlopments has started to develop a secure portable personal electronic health record - MyHealth Anywhere equips migrants willing to use it with secure access to their electronic medical history, and they can share it anywhere they seek new services.
MyHealth Anywhere is currently being piloted in Tak province in collaboration with the SMRU (Shoklo Malaria Research Unit) clinics to provide access to real-time portable information on the history of vaccination against multiple vaccine-preventable illnesses. As of December 2024, electronic vaccination records are already being used for more than 15,000 migrants and mobile border populations
